New Technology Helping Spina Bifida Child Patients Passing (原文是双关语，该怎么翻)
……2000年至今，武汉协和医院治疗脊髓脊膜膨出患者62例，绝大部分取得了显著效果。在术后已获系统随访两年以上的20例患者中，17例手术后 8－12月获得控尿和自主排尿功能……在其余42例中，已经进行尿动力学随访的21例（术后6－12个月），膀胱功能已改善者达71％，其余21例因术后时间少6于个月，正在恢复中。
……Since 2000, Wuhan Union Hospital has cured 62 Spina Bifida patients; the overwhelming majority of them have obtained remarkable effects. Among the 20 patients who were followed up systematically over two years after their operation, 17 patients obtained functions of urine control and independent urination (控尿和自主排尿?) in 8-12 months after the operation …… Among the rest 42 patients, 21 have already had follow-up investigation of urine dynamics (6-12 months after the operation), 71 % have improved bladder function; the rest 21 patients are still to recover, since the time is less than 6 months after their operations.

本报讯 1995年，在美国潜心攻关 10多年发明了“人工反射弧”的肖传国回到祖国，首次成功地为一批截瘫患者进行了神奇的“人工反射弧”手术，术后约一年患者获得了自我控制排尿功能。……截至目前，国内已开展“人工反射弧”手术218例，有效率高达80％。
[huazhong university of science and technology weekly] In 1995, Xiao Chuan-guo, who invented “artificial reflex arc” after over 10 years of concentration, returned China, and performed successfully the wonderful “artificial reflex arc” operation on a group of paraplegic patients for the first time. The patients obtained independent urination function in about one year after the operation. …… Up to now, 218 “artificial reflex arc” operations have been carried out in China, with a high effective rate of 80%.
