I saw there are small sharks in the sea, but not in the swimming zone... the sea is too clean and clear, the color you'll never forget.
I swam yesterday a bit. The sun is burning me. I saw fishes in the swimming zone. Octopas, I recorded in my vedio from above near my room.
We jointed an activity the day before yesterday, fishing in the morning, my father said there is no chance to get a single fish according to their fishing style, they just won't let you. And there was a drawing game. I 'luckily ' got the most expensive present--two tickets of seaplane, which means two of us can go to Male to take a small plane to view Maldives from above. I was just about to go excited, while the woman called me and said the activity was canceled, because of the engine problem. Till now, life makes me strongly believe, there is nothing for free. When you meet something for free, don't get excited too fast, there must be something hide behind that you have not discovered yet.
People here are actually prevent ppl from fishing too much. Each island manage their own fishing. They can go fishing, but net fishing is forbidden, only hooks for big fishes are okay. After fishing, they go to Male to sell them. We went to the fish market today in Male, very cheap, only 2-3 dollars for a Tuna half of my arm long. Big Tuna arm long, 13 dollars, I believe if you are local people, it is much cheaper. But the main income of the whole country is tourism. Here is the paradise of the fishes, as well as other animals, no one is gonna heart them. One day morning, when I'm just about to have breakfast, a crow lands on my head for a second and starts to steal bread from tables. His claws are very sharp and strong, but i still feel he's lovely.
Like anything in life, there are both happiness and sadness of this trip. The first two days were exciting, ppl are too friendly and makes you believe you are truly in a paradise. But later you'll find those smiles are only for money.
